Edina High School (EHS), located in Edina, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis, is a four-year public high school providing a curriculum that adheres to academic standards set by the Minnesota Department of Education. Curriculum at Edina Senior High School is a blend of Common Core and state-developed standards. Traditional graduation requirements include 43 credits from the major core content courses and the following assessments: College and Career, ACT, MCA Math, and MCA reading.
Each year, nearly two-thirds of EHS students enroll in one or more AP courses. The AP exam in May is not part of the course grade, nor is it a requirement of the course.
Edina High School students interested in science, technology, engineering and math have the opportunity to earn college credit for their coursework. Students may earn up to earn up to 12 college credits before they graduate high school through the Project Lead the Way program.
Extra-curricular activities for students are available in the areas of athletics, clubs, and fine arts.
