Radnor High School (RHS), a large suburban school, is located 13 miles west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A classical public high school, RHS provides students with programs to accelerate their entry into the post-secondary world. The student population includes 23 percent minority students and 11 percent economically disadvantaged students.

Graduation requirements are comprised of a traditional slate of 22.5 Carnegie credits drawn from core courses. Additional opportunities are afforded through Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the potential to earn college credits during their high school years. Ninety percent of students across the district attend college after graduation.

72 percent of RHS students take the AP exam with 84 percent of students receiving qualifying scores.

At Radnor High School, through “Project Lead the Way” (PLTW) programs, students develop skills that will assist them in the career and technical field. PLTW prepares students to be the most innovative and productive leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and to make meaningful, pioneering contributions to our world. Through an engaging, hands-on curriculum, PLTW encourages the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, creative and innovative reasoning, and a love of learning. College credits are earned when students meet a set of criteria.
